Pule Chauke, known by his stage name Sliq, is a South African rapper, songwriter, and the founder of Sliq Records, an independent record label based in Virginia.
Sliq’s music career is deeply rooted in his community of Meloding, Virginia, where he aims to challenge perceptions about the Free State’s lack of talent. In April 2022, he established Sliq Records with the vision of altering lives through music and gratitude. The label debuted with four artists, primarily from the RareBreeds collective, and has since expanded to include 12 young artists
